Before giving AI permission to act, I’d ask one question: who can stop it? Picture an assistant sending the wrong message or changing something it misunderstood. Can someone pause it, see what happened, and undo the change? That’s a useful conversation to have before the first mistake. What would you want an AI assistant to ask permission for?

A useful security question for a growing business: “If our main systems were unavailable tomorrow, what could we still do?” Who could contact customers? Where would the recovery instructions be? Could anyone access them without the systems they’re trying to recover? Walking through those questions together can make an incident plan much more practical.
